I'm new to the Saab lifestyle as I just bought my first in February of 2022. A 2003.9-3 Linear that has been an unexpected surprise, delight, treasure, nightmare, character builder, that makes me so angry that I want to break it in half with my bare hands but can't because I absolutely love my Saab and honestly don't want to ever own anything else now. I have adapted very quickly to the quirky nature of the brand and I am pretty proud of the fact that I purchased a 9-3 that within 24 hours of taking possession revealed to me that it had late stage T8 Brain Cancer (OBD2 codes P0245+P0201-P0204+P0246 the codes that spell out eminent catastrophic ECU failure) I have done A LOT of reading on this curse to our beloved cars and have yet to find anyone that has managed to help the car run better than when these symptoms began. But I have somehow managed to get my 9-3 running 10x's better . I'm not saying that I figured out how to fix this without ECU repair/replace but perhaps a treatment??
